Julie has been taking acoustic kit and djembe lessons with UZIMA!’s lead drummer Vinny Carrasco at The Music Village since spring 2022, began studying dununs and djembe with Jacquee Dickey in spring 2023, and is inspired by Jade Jewell.

Julie is incredibly grateful for the warm welcome she has received from the entire UZIMA! family and is overjoyed to be able to learn from such an amazing and talented community.
