Nekeisha Alayna Alexis is a Trinidad native turned New Yorker who now calls Elkhart, Indiana, home. She lives by the motto, "liberation for every body" and dedicates each arena of her life to this pursuit, from her undoing racism work to serving on local boards to her commitment to a vegan ethic on behalf of all creatures. Nekeisha also performs regionally with her band, rebel noire and the accomplices and her favorite color is bright grass green. She is thrilled to have discovered her gifts as an amateur dancer in this season of life, and feels proud to be part of UZIMA!'s spiritual and artistic community.
